I have played Solitaire Till Dawn almost from it’s outset. The best Mac Solitaire game EVER! This new version is just the beginning! It’s smooth game play and smart graphic make this worth the price. They will do updates to make this game even better. It took them 5 years of labour for a reason… they believe in giving only a quality game. If you like solitaire you’ll love this game - and it’s only going to get better.

Solitair Till Dawn is fantastic. I have played Solitaire Till Dawn since the early ’90’s. While it was being rewritten to catch up to Apple’s new OS I tried others, and not one came close to the quality of Solitaire Till Dawn. This is the best by far. Lots of different games, and no distractions. Simple, yet customizable backgrounds, and cards, without a lot of unnecessary stuff happening the background. The Rules are clear and helpful when trying a new Solitaire. And if you need extra help, the folks at Semicolon Software are good about personally answering your questions. You will not be disappointed.

I’ve also used Solitaire til Dawn for a very long time - and so glad to see it now in the App store rather than having to renew Beta versions! I wouldn’t be without it when hitting writer’s block or needing a quick fix. It’s seamless, simple and offers infinite varieties of solitaire version. Well, maybe not infinite… but more than I have ever used! Thanks for all the work and care in developing it!

I’m sure there are other, less expensive solitaire games out there, but after finally upgrading my OS today to enter the modern era, I was so sad to see that my old version of Solitaire Until Dawn was no longer viable. I’ve been playing it for years - most likely since the beginning - and to give the creators another $10 seemed well worth it for such a great product

I was a fan of the old version and have been waiting for this updated version for over a year now. I am now a happy camper. It works a little differently but all my favorite card games are there.

There is no doubt about it. This is far and away the very best solitaire game ever written. The number of games, the way the games play, the graphics and a developer who is extremely responsive make this the best. And, the price is really right. I’ve played Solitaire Till Dawn for many years, going way back to the Power PC days. If you like solitaire, this is the one to have.

I have waited and waited for STD to come back to the Mac! I was a user in the late 90s up until OSX and have missed it so much! Was so glad to be part of the Beta program and, now, glad to see it in the Mac App Store! If you are looking for a fun, solid solitaire suite of games, this is it! Rick has brought fun back to the Mac. Sometimes I am literally up until dawn playing his games! Welcome back STD!

I have playing Solitaire ’til Dawn since Mac OS8, and I was sorely disappointed when it was made obsolete with the discontinuation of Rosetta support with OS 10.7. I was also a beta tester of the new version, and it’s a far more refined program than the original. The author has invested an incredible amount of time into making the interface elegant and easy to understand. Game play is smooth, and the options for configuring the game to your personal preference are easy to understand and simple to change. You won’t be disappointed!

Been playing this one since before OS X, and glad it’s finally available on OS X. Great solitare app.

This is a major re-write of an application I’ve enjoyed for years. The original version was written before Apple started using the Intel processor, so it needed to be re-written. Recently beta test versions have been available, which I’ve been using. Great collection of solitaire card games.

I read the reviews and decided to buy this card game and all I can say is WOW!! I hope it comes out for the ipad as would buy in a heartbeat. THANKS to the developer for making a GREAT card game. Looks nice on my big mac.

I’ve been enjoying this software for years… in its previous incarnation, then there was the hiatus, and most recently the beta versions, and now it’s great to have it available as an official release. I could tell during the beta releases (based on the author’s comments) that he was working very carefully to get this right. Highly recommended for solitaire fans… i particularly enjoy Beleaguered Castle, Free Cell, Grandma’s Game, and Montana.

This game was always rated highly inTidBits when they asked for reader favorite games. And now it’s back. Great animation and game play, with games that aren’t found in other solitaires. Not a cheesey looking import from other platforms, but designed for OSX from the ground up. A great value for the money. Welcome back old friend!

I have been using Solitaire till Dawn in various stages for many years. Still the BEST Solitaire I have found. I give it 5 stars easy.

This always was the only solitaire package worth using - for years. So glad it’s back and up-to-speed with the latest OSX. I used another package as a substitute and it fell short in so many ways: readability, poor graphics, unpredictable speed and even problems responding to mouse clicks. STD has none of those problems. Zips right along as fast as your brain and vision allows. My favorite style is Trefoil - an automatic mind jogger whenever I’m on hold.

Oh, I’m having so much fun! I used to play this in its previous incarnation, and am delighted it’s back for OS X. I am reveling in the games list, seeking out old friends and exploring games whose names simply appeal to my curiosity. This is an elegant, attractive implementation of solitaire games for everyone and any mood. Here, in one place, are games that are easy, difficult, quick or brain-burners, single-deck, double-deck, math-based, memory-based, have variants or are related to others, are well-known or unusual, offer me simple luck-of-the-draw, or I’d-better-develop-some-skills-if-I-want-to-win-this. I can find whatever suits my fancy at the time (mathy ones usually don’t, but there are so many other choices). There are clear descriptions, rules, tips for playing, analyses, and finding-aids for games. Play is precise and easy, with undos, snapshots, scoring and statistics, personalized lists and game-saving. My favorites list is filling fast as I explore further. You’ll not be disappointed; I’m not!

The author has been amazingly conscientious working to be sure the beta was flawless before releasing this paid version. I purchased gladly!

Its finally here! I have been playing the beta-version while the bugs were worked out. This is an amazing package of solitaire games. $9.99 is a steal for this. Ah, I can finally relax and enjoy my favorite passtime. If you love solitaire, you will really enjoy this program.
